This is a wonderfully written and engaging piece, but I am so sorry you had such an awful time with Covid! Please keep listening to your body and rest lots more. And enjoy the Mac and Cheese!

I really enjoyed this... sitting in bed with I think Covid (all my lateral flows are coming back negative too!) and lamenting I ate the last of the pre-sickness Matzo Ball Soup yesterday. Hope you’re feeling even better now!

Oh no, you, too??? Regardless, it's disconcerting to be so laid up with illness after two whole years of scarcely a sniffle. Thankfully the throat is far less sore today, although only if I keep myself extremely well-hydrated. I hope you can get some more comfort food in you soon!

I know! This feels very mild 3 vaccines since getting Covid two years ago but I feel we’ve become less equipped to being sick than we used to be. And that’s good news! Glad you’re improving!

Definitely made mac 'n' cheese with green beans for supper. Mango popsicle for dessert.

Auiughhh, I'm so sorry. Keep recuperating, don't overdo the cooking, and here's to restorative grub!

Haha good advice on the cooking! Easy to overdo it for sure.

Oh, yes.... As I find out every year at Thanksgiving...😂

LOL! I've hosted enough parties I think I've broken myself of overdoing it for entertaining, but it can get out of hand in a hurry if you're not careful. I always do a multi-day to-do list/plan. That usually cures me of anything too overly ambitious.

Love what you do, however almost impossible to not be annoyed that you don’t blow your nose before speaking. Listen to yourself on ‘Foods That Made…’ or take a sinus medication. Your intellect is undermined by sounding like a whiny 10 year old
